About
Hi, I’m Ion
I’m a professional piano teacher with a strong classical foundation, having started playing at the age of five. From an early age, I developed a deep passion for music, going on to win multiple piano competitions, including international awards.
Alongside classical training, I’ve spent years composing music across classical, pop, and jazz styles. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Jazz Piano, which allows me to bring a versatile and creative approach to every lesson.
Since 2018, I’ve been teaching one-to-one lessons to children and adults of all levels. I prepare students for graded exams, competitions, and performances, as well as support those who simply want to play and enjoy music. I also teach music theory up to Grade 8, helping students build a strong and well-rounded musical foundation.
My approach is always tailored to the individual. Whether the goal is exams, performance, or personal enjoyment, lessons are structured, engaging, and focused on real progress. All of my students have successfully passed their exams, and I’ve built a reputation as a reliable, supportive, and inspiring teacher.
I currently teach in South East London, covering Canada Water, Canary Wharf, and surrounding areas.

First introductory lesson is completely free — a chance to meet, play, discuss your goals, and see if we’re the right fit.

45 minutes — £40

Lessons are tailored to each student’s level, musical interests, and personal goals — whether you are a complete beginner or returning to the piano after years away.
Refer a new student who joins ongoing lessons and receive 2 complimentary piano lessons (equivalent to £100).
Lessons are available in Canary Wharf, Canada Water, Blackheath, and surrounding areas.
